Novara connects to the Skylo satellite network so you can send for help beyond cell coverage. An SOS sends a message — with your location and basic health readings such as heart rate — to the emergency contacts you set up, or to a supported emergency SMS number. It is not a monitored rescue-dispatch service, and is not a replacement for a dedicated personal locator beacon (PLB) or for calling 911 when you have cell service. It requires a clear view of the sky and an active plan.

Novara includes two years of satellite service. After that, an annual subscription applies — expected from $19.99/year (final pricing to be confirmed). Coverage is as described by Skylo and varies by location.
