Satellite features connect over geostationary satellites, require a clear view of the sky and an active satellite plan, and coverage, availability and message delivery times vary by location and conditions.
Satellite service. Two years of satellite service is included with Novara. An annual subscription applies after that (from an expected $19.99/year, subject to change). A subscription is required to use satellite features after the included period.

Battery life. Battery figures are maximums measured under specific test conditions with auto-detect workouts manually disabled, and differ between the 46 mm and 41 mm sizes. Actual battery life varies with settings, usage, features enabled and other factors.
