NexBeacon Innovation Inc. ("NexBeacon," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through nexbeacon.ca, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

We collect only what we need to sell and support our products.
Information you give us
- Pre-order reservations (Amora, Novara): your name, email address, chosen model/finish, and quantity. No payment information is collected at reservation.
- Purchases (Cyclora and, later, when a pre-order is completed): order details, shipping address, and contact information. Card payments are processed by Helcim — we do not see or store your full card number.
- Support & contact: any information you include when you email us or use a contact form.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical and usage data (e.g., IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed) collected through cookies and analytics tags to operate and improve the site.
2. How we use your information
- To process and fulfill orders, and to manage pre-order reservations — including contacting you before shipping to confirm details and arrange payment.
- To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- To operate, secure, and improve nexbeacon.ca.
- To send you service messages about your order or reservation.
- With your consent, to send marketing or product updates (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
3. Consent
By submitting a reservation, placing an order, or contacting us, you consent to our collecting and using your information for the purposes described here. Where we rely on consent for marketing, it is optional and you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to provide certain services (for example, we cannot fulfill an order without the information needed to ship it).
4. Service providers & sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only to the extent they need it:
- Helcim — payment processing for purchases.
- EmailJS — delivering reservation and contact-form submissions to us by email.
- Google — website analytics and advertising measurement (see Cookies).
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security (nexbeacon.ca runs on Cloudflare Pages).
- Shipping & logistics providers — to deliver your order.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transaction (such as a merger or sale of assets).
5. Where your data is processed
Some of our service providers are located outside Canada (including in the United States). When your information is processed in another country, it may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and authorities of that country under its laws. By using nexbeacon.ca you acknowledge this cross-border processing. We take reasonable steps to ensure our providers protect your information at a level comparable to PIPEDA.
6. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, analytics, and advertising measurement. This includes Google Ads / Google Analytics tags, which may set cookies to measure site performance and ad conversions. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
7. Watch & app wellness data
Our watches collect wellness and fitness information (such as heart rate, SpO₂, sleep, activity, and, for Amora, cycle logging) through the paired companion app on your phone. This wellness data is handled by the companion app and its provider, and is for general wellness only — it is not medical data and our watches are not medical devices. Please review the companion app's own privacy policy for how that data is stored and used.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records). Reservation information is kept until your pre-order is fulfilled or cancelled, plus a reasonable period afterward. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may, subject to legal limits, request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask about how it has been used and disclosed. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframes required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
11. Children
Our site and products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
